Terrie E. Moffitt, MBE, is the Nannerl O. Keohane University Distinguished Professor at Duke University, holding appointments in Psychology and Neuroscience as well as Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Professor Moffitt's research spans criminology, psychology, neuroscience, and psychiatry, with a focus on population health and aging. She is a fellow of the National Academy of Medicine (USA), the British Academy, the American Society of Criminology, and the Association of Psychological Science. Dr. Moffitt completed her B.A. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her PhD at the University of Southern California, and her postdoctoral training in geriatrics and neuropsychology at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. In her spare time, she works on her poison-ivy farm in North Carolina.
