Ruti G. Teitel is the Ernst C. Stiefel Professor of Comparative Law at New York Law School, where she also serves as Co-Director of the Center for International Law and Director of the Institute for Global Law, Justice, and Policy. Her ground-breaking work in transitional justice, international law, and comparative constitutional law has significantly shaped these fields, as evidenced by her influential books "Transitional Justice" "Globalizing Transitional Justice" and "Humanity's Law." with OUP.  She has written dozens of scholarly articles and contributed many book chapters on related themes.  Professor Teitel's expertise is sought globally, leading to visiting professorships at prestigious institutions such as Yale, Tel Aviv Law Schools, and Columbia University; most recently, she is regular affiliated faculty at NYU's Masters in International Relations. She has been a long-time contributor to Hebrew University's program on Transitional Justice and Human Rights.  Her contributions extend beyond academia, as she is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, sits on many advisory boards and regularly publishes in prominent media outlets reflecting her ability to bridge scholarly research with broader public discourse.
