Richard Susskind OBE KC (Hon) FRSE is a leading authority on the future of legal services and is the most cited author in this field. He served as Technology Adviser to the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales from 1998 to 2023 and is currently President of the Society for Computers and Law. He is Special Envoy for Justice and AI to the Secretary General of the Commonwealth. He specialises in the ways that AI and digital technology are transforming the legal profession, advising firms, in-house legal departments, and governments worldwide. Susskind has written and edited 13 books, including "The Future of Law" and "Tomorrow's Lawyers," and has contributed over 150 columns to The Times. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2000 and recognized as an Honorary King's Counsel in 2022.
