Ron Derech (ADV) is the Clinical Director of the Rights of People with Disabilities Clinic

Adv. Ron Derech holds a bachelor's degree in law from Bar-Ilan University and a master's degree in law and human rights with honors from the Emil Zola Chair in Human Rights at the College of Management.

Ron specialized in the State Attorney's Office (civil field) and was certified by the Bar Association in June 2012. After his certification, Ron served as a lawyer in the law firm of Posternak in Jerusalem, which specializes in civil law and labor law. Later on, Ron moved to work for the "Yedid" organization - community rights centers, which promoted the reduction of social disparities through the operation of rights centers, policy change activities and extensive social activities, first as director of the association's rights center in Jerusalem and then as a lawyer in the legal department, that represented in principle cases such as public housing, labor law, social security, debts and enforcement.

For the past five years, Ron has been leading the Clinic for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and since 2019 he has also been directing the Clinic for the Representation of Populations in the Periphery alongside Adv. Ohad Amer and Adv. Vardit Damari Madar.
