Tehila Gimpel holds Bechelor’s Degrees in Law and in Jewish Philosphy, from the Hebrew University (both with honors). During her studies, Tehila served as a research assistant to Prof. Ruth Gavison. Tehila was admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 2009, and worked as a private attorney for seven years in the fields of family and criminal law.

Tehila received her Master’s Degree in Jewish Law from the Hebrew University (with honors). Over the course of her studies she was awarded the Herzog Prize for excellence in Jewish Law  (2013) and the Zilberg Foundation scholarship (2015).

Tehila is an instructor in the course “Introduction to Jewish Law” and works as research assistant to Dr. Benjamin Porat, on the subject of private law in Jewish Law.

Her doctoral dissertation is being written on the subject of behavioral economic analysis of monetary procedural law in Jewish Law.
