Edward Rock is a renowned legal scholar and professor at New York University School of Law where he specializes in corporate law and corporate governance. As a scholar, he has made significant contributions to the field through his extensive research and publications, authoring over 60 articles on a variety of topics such as corporate purpose, common ownership, institutional investors, poison pills, corporate voting, and mergers and acquisitions. As founder and co-director of NYU's Institute for Corporate Governance & Finance, Professor Rock convenes some of the most important conversations on cutting edge issues facing capital markets. His expertise is further recognized in his role as the Reporter for the American Law Institute's Restatement of the Law of Corporate Governance.
