This ramp is dedicated to the memory of Judith Rebecca Shaw, a vibrant and courageous woman, who passed away in Leicester, England, on 6 January 2021 (22 Tevet 5781).

A sufferer from Multiple Sclerosis and in later years a wheelchair user, Judith was particularly interested in the provision of accessible facilities in the Faculty of Law for staff and students, encouraging, for example, the installation of a lift in the Faculty office (Hirsh) building. She was a regular visitor to the University with her husband, Professor Malcolm Shaw QC, who obtained his LLM from the Faculty in 1971 and has been a Visiting Professor at the Faculty periodically since 1986. She was a devoted mother to Talia, Ilan and Daniella and besotted grandmother to Mika, Eden, Zevi and Zak.
