We are delighted to announce the launch of a new international journal, dedicated to empirical legal studies: the Journal of Law & Empirical Analysis. The new journal is the fruit of collaboration between the faculty of law of the Hebrew University, the Gould School of Law, University of Southern California, the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn, and Sage publishing. Prof. Eyal Zamir is one of the four founding editors of the journal, alongside Profs. Lee Epstein and Daniel Klerman from USC, and Prof. Christoph Engel from the Max Plank institute. The new journal will feature a wide range of empirical studies pertinent to law and legal policy-making. It aims to combine methodological rigor with accessibility to a wide audience, extending beyond scholars engaging in empirical legal studies. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers across various disciplines, such as law, economics, political science, psychology, sociology, and criminology. It is fully open access and does not charge any publication fees.

Additional details about the journal, including the ten articles featured in its inaugural issue, can be found in the attached file.
