Prof. David Weisburd from the Criminology Institute receives Donal MacNamara Award for Criminal Justice Paper of the Year (2014-15)

Prof. David Weisburd from the Criminology Institute is the recipient of the Donal MacNamara Award for best article published throughout 2014-2015 in three leading criminal justice journals (Justice Quarterly, Journal of Criminal Justice Education and ACJS Today). The award was granted to Prof. Weisburd and his two co-writers - Cody Telep and Renee Mitchell - for their 2014 article -  How much time should the police spend at crime hot spots? Answers from a police agency directed randomized field trial in Sacramento, California (Justice Quarterly, 31(5), 905-933).
