Higher Walls: The Challenging Transition of East-Germany since 1990 - The Minerva Center for Human Rights hosted a symposium attended by the German Ambassador to Israel

Last night (Wednesday, 17th of January), The Minerva Center for Human Rights hosted a symposium titled "Higher Walls: The Challenging Transition of East-Germany since 1990".

The keynote lecture was given by Dr. Anna Kaminsky, Director of the Federal Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship. Other speakers and participants included Prof. Manuela Consonni, Director of the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Anti-Semitism, Dr. Anja Mihr, lecturer and visiting scholar at the Hebrew University, and the panel's chair, Prof. Tomer Broude, Academic Director of the Minerva Center for Human Rights.

The event began with greetings and introductory remarks from the German ambassador to Israel, Dr. Clemens von Goetze, who visited the Faculty of Law & The Minerva Center for Human Rights that same day.
